Interview with Tonight's winner RaisingCayne

LivePokerRadio : Cayne, your game has been on fire lately, tell me the one hole that you have found recently?
RaisingCayne : Tough one. But to pick one leak that I feel I've recently fixed would be just to get over a timidness and trust my reads more. For far too long I was over-correcting my play, and responding to every downswing by tightening up far too much. Playing like a complete nit doesn't get one paid... appropriate aggression is required.

LivePokerRadio : With changes recently to online gaming due to the legal issues in the US, do you think that online gambling is on its way up, out or evolving?
RaisingCayne : Evolving. It's hard for me to imagine it climbing much higher in popularity given its so prevalent now already, but I do not foresee any decline either.

RaisingCayne : Always curious of... Avatar, what is it and why?
RaisingCayne : Mine... a donkey, 'cause I'm a donkey.

LivePokerRadio : Mine is a cop because I thought the Air Force dude looked weird and they don't have a radio guy (Mic/Headphones)

LivePokerRadio : Now it's time for the Six Deadly Questions... Are YOU READY?
RaisingCayne : BOO YEAH
So lets get into Six Deadly Questions:

LivePokerRadio : #1 Which poker players would you like to have 1 hour to talk to, 1 hour to play with and 1 hour to observe?

RaisingCayne : Phil Hellmuth to talk to... Phil Ivey to play with... Gus Hansen to observe. (I could relate to Hellmuth's arrogance, and would enjoy the cocky conversation. Ivey's known as the best, so would like to say I sat w/the best. And it would be nice to understand Gus' play.)

LivePokerRadio : #2 Heads Up, 6 Max or Full Ring, Which do you prefer?
RaisingCayne : Full ring (I'm more patient than most)

LivePokerRadio : #3 Which blogger do you find you are reading for entertainment, for learning and to go "What The ?"
RaisingCayne : For entertainment, probably Waffles, just for the wicked rants. (MINUS the ghey WOW posts though.) For learning I enjoy Blinders' strategy posts now and again. Thought provoking, and usually specific to tournament play. And Lucko for the "what the..." factor, as I just view his tourney results with fascination and envy. (He keeps me motivated to think that one CAN win decent amounts playing online MTTs.

LivePokerRadio : #4 What hand do you find yourself second guessing every time you play it?
RaisingCayne : JKo... i'm just uncomfortable with JackKingOff. Get caught one time, and ever since...

LivePokerRadio : #5 If you could make one change in your life what change would it be?
RaisingCayne : Some brutal honesty here, but that's my nature... to get off my dependence on drugs. Weed is getting expensive, and I need my ambition back!

LivePokerRadio : and Finally The easiest question in the world. Roar or Boom?
RaisingCayne : And... BOOOOM! Of course. (Roar is for pussies.)

LivePokerRadio : Thanks for playing this week and we expect to see you back to try and become the first repeat champion.
RaisingCayne : Thanks Tragedy!

Six Deadly Questions with Pirate Lawyer

LivePokerRadio : Pirate lawyer you made a great effort to win the LPRT last week. What made your mind up to play the LPRT?
Pirate Lawyer: Whimsy + begging by host + chance to defend the prestigious title.

LivePokerRadio : How are you feeling about your game?
Pirate Lawyer: I'm not playing my "A" game at the moment. My patience and discipline is not where it needs to be for a variety of reasons.

LivePokerRadio : What do you need to do to change your game around?
Pirate Lawyer: Some time away from the tables to get my head in the right place. And some good luck wouldn't hurt!

LivePokerRadio : Are you ready for the most painful period in your career?

So lets get into Six Deadly Questions:
Pirate Lawyer: shoot
LivePokerRadio : Which would you play more often 89s or the Hammer
Pirate Lawyer: My favourite hand 89s.

LivePokerRadio : #2 Best Phil Ever?
Pirate Lawyer: Hmm. I'll say Laak because he has a celebrity Canadian girlfriend.

LivePokerRadio : #3 Poker Tournament that you could dominate if you could get your act together (either online or B&M)
Pirate Lawyer: The big buy-in mixed hold'em event at the WSoP.

LivePokerRadio : #4 Blogger that you respect the most and blogger you hate the most...
Pirate Lawyer: (can I be totally frank here?)

LivePokerRadio : Sure and don't call me frank
Pirate Lawyer: For most respected I'll say CK (BWoP) because she's living her dream and taking bold adventurous steps away from the beaten path; and .... Donkette, for reasons that should be very obvious to most everyone.

LivePokerRadio : #5 If you were in a courtroom with any Blogger Lawyer, who would you dominate?
Pirate Lawyer: I'd own Hoy in a courtroom. No contest!

LivePokerRadio : and finally ROAR or BOOM?
Pirate Lawyer: Definitely BOOM!

LivePokerRadio : Thanks for having fun with six deadly questions and for playing the LivePokerRadio.com Tour
Pirate Lawyer: ty Tragedy sir

LivePokerRadio.Com Tournament Four Blog

11:45 and after a 20 min Heads up battle Waffles is DOMINATED when his 98 is dominated by A6, ace on the flop , six on the turn and RaisingCayne is your week 4 LPRT Champion!

Congrats Cayne!

For our cast of thousands, my spotter OhCaptain, my partner in poker Riggstad, I'm Instant Tragedy reminding you that the only nuts you have is when you get to say BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
Good Night from LivePokerRadio.Com

11:25 After one of the brutalist beats when Waffles A9o> Instant Tragedy's A10o Tragedy leaves the parade grounds in third place and RaisingCayne and SirfWalgman go at it heads up.
Still respectable showing for Tragedy, moving closer to TwoBlackAces in the money standings and a first and two thirds in four tourneys. Could third place be the Tragedy position?

11:18 Lots of tournament chips in a pot with IT and TheCloserX5, a paired board with a flushed board chases the CloserX away with what looked to be a river value bet.
1st Cayne 18K 2nd IT with 13k Waffles hanging back in 3rd.

11:15 A lot of pushing and folding going on.

11:13 InstantTragedy has a case of the Astin's as his Aces stand up against 10h9h and he takes out Astin who goes out in 5th place. We are now on the money bubble. RaisingCayne is the Chipleader with 15K 2nd is the CLoserX5 with 12K IT is in 3rd with 10k Waffles is in 4th with 8k

11:10 First hand after break and the CloserX5 doubles up Waffles and he is now in 3rd place.

11:07 We're at break and TheCloserX5 is your leader, RaisingCayne 2nd, InstantTragedy 3rd, Astin 4th and Waffles SirfWalgman in the Dude In Last Place (DILP) Position.
We are now at break!

11:00 Congrats to RaisingCayne and Surflexus who are deep in the Full Tilt 28k. Good luck guys and bring home the moolah!

10:57 From Chipleader to chump After mondo hand 1, TBA pushes with AQo. Waffles calls with pocket 4's. TwoBlackAces hits his ace on the turn but loses when waffles hits his two outer on the river. Waffles is up to third place.

10:54 Tragedy wins a 2900 chip pot when he flops trips and pot bets out. No callers and he is up to 2nd place. TBA is solid chipleader.

10:53 TBA is the chipleader by 55 chips Tragedy is in the DILP position with 6700 chips.

10:50 Astin's AK hurts Ddionysus' 7's with one king on the flop and one on the river to smack him around. DD's is left with a chip and a chair. TwoblackAces Kings bitch slap DD's K8 os and we are down to 6.

10:46 The Taunting of InstantTragedy continues: Astin: feel free to give me your chips
Astin: before she just lounges back topless Astin: I'll get you just like Sean isn't getting Jo right now. Astin: or something like that Astin: hey Tragedy - bigger bre asts - Waffles or Joanna? InstantTragedy: Joanna, she is the most beautiful woman in the world. Astin: here that Waffles? You're not the most beautiful woman in the world

10:44 According to Waffles, IT's Girlfriend teasing him is a plan perfected by the toasted and covered with buttered and syrup.

10:32 Lots of action and the top 2 money winners on the tour are duking it out with TBA and IT looking for money. If IT wins and TBA doesn't cash we wll have a new cash leader on the Livepokerradio.com tour.

TBA and IT in a war and IT is all in with Aces, TBA calls with 9's. Oh no, will the two outer come? NOOOOOoooooooo and IT is up to 11k and is your chip leader.

10:28 And DOWN GOES PVANHARIBO. The player who has a bet out on Waffles on the Mookie Tournaments pushes with J6 os. Waffles calls with A10 and with an Ace and a ten on the flop sends her to the rail. GG LJ!

10:24 Didn't take long to have our first bustout, JoshuaCarlsens two pair is no goot to the Horse Trainer that is Astin (Horseshoe not included)'s trips.

Congrats to everyone who made it so far!

10:23 The new girlfriend is distracting me... But not enough to see the CARNAGE that is RaisingCayne's Queens CRACKING Neo3gs's Aces and we are at the final table.

10:22 Ddionysus drops the hammer to Waffles amusement.

10:21 Pvanharibo is fighting back as back to back pushes have netted the Turbo Fitty warrior a couple of blinds.

10:18 We have Whitewater as InstantTragedy and Pvan go to war. Tragedy has the 8 high flush and Pvan's seven high straight is no good. Still on the final table bubble.

10:16 Table 2 has the action as it's buying the blinds time on table 1.

10:15 Racing all around and this time Pvanharibo loses one and doubles up Neo3gs. Pvan is down in the DILP position.

10:14 Lightning36 can't win a race either as the TwoBlackAces Ramrod continues with pocket 7's the board doesn't improve Lightning's hand and it doesn't strike twice. Down to the Final Table Bubble.

10:12 DQB for DDionysus and TwoBlackAces donates. Tragedy gives up a ton of his chips when he races with Pvanharibo. Pocket 9's are ALWAYS good and Tragedy is approaching the DILP!

10:07 HighonPoker is all in wuth QsAc3d the board. TheCloser goes all in with AA , and even the river 5 can't help HighonPoker who is out in 12th.

The following hand neo3gs double's up when his pair of aces dodge bullets baby and Raising Cayne doubles him up. Down to 11 players. TBA is dominating with 14.6K

10:05 Happy Birthday to JamyHawk who is officially old, neo3gs who is 30 today, and also to Tragedy's father : SilverEagle.

9:59 As we hit the break, I can remind you that 1st place $64, 2nd $38.40 and 3rd will take home $25.60

9:55 Approaching first break and I'm pushing with KsQc Neo calls with 7s8s. And I double up.
Note to self. Stop believing Waffles. After being as high as first, I was down to 1000 chops. Lightning36 doubles through Waffles and its a whole new ballgame.

HighonPoker is in the DILP. Top 5 are TwoBlackaces with 14.8K

9:52 Twoblackaces is making everyone his bitch, taking a significant chunk of joshuacarlsen's chips and now has 15k.

9:50 Twoblackaces is dominating with 9540 chips, neo3gs is in second with 5640, joshuacarlsen has 4800 in chips in third, RaisingCayne with the miracle hammer is in 4th with 3590 and InstantTragedy is in 5th with 3155. The DILP is SmBoatDrinks with 1200.

9:44 No help for defending champ PirateLawyer pushes with Jc10c. smBoatdrinks calls with JsJh. The CloserX5 calls with AsQc. TheCloserx5 catches a queen and takes most of the pot. Smboatdrinks takes the rest. Piratelawyer is down to 430.

9:42 RaisingCayne miracle push of the Hammer doubles through TheCloserx5's AKo who is now in the DILPosition.

9:37 BIG Hand on table two as Pirate Lawyer and HighonPoker go at it. With a pair of nines and an open ended straight draw, Highonpoker pushes and PirateLawyer calls with aces. No miracle hand and HoP is close to DILPing it.

Tragedy's Queens and Eights are no good versus JoshuaCarlsen's NUT BOAT. Down to 3000 for tragedy and Josh is up to 7k

9:34 The two chipleaders are at Table 1, Twoblackaces and InstantTragedy. Tragedy's flopped set is good to take some of TBA's chips but he is still above 10K

34 min in and here are the standings.

1st twoblackaces 10,340
2nd InstantTragedy 6,570
then it takes awhile to get to the chipleader on table 2
3rd HighonPoker with 4330
4th is Astin on table 1 with 3645
and 5th is JoshuaCarlsen with 3550

The DILP is Lightning36 with 1800 chips.

9:31 Numbbono was dude in last place (DILP) and he pushed with 8s6s. Unfortunately for him JoshuaCarlsen wakes up with aces. Board doesn't help and Numbbono is gone in 15th place.

9:23 HighonPoker may be swash and debonair, but his Ks10s is no good to the mighty KQo

9:21 When Skidoo and Twoblackaces go at it, its a war until all the chips are at the table
Skidoo's pocket 9's versus tba's powerful JACKACE.
Ad 10d Jh Ks 2H and Two pair is good enough to send skidoo to the rail. GG sir.
TBA is your definitive leader with 7800 in chips.

9:17 Big hand on table one as Twoblackaces gets all his chips in the middle after a 4d2d10h flop. Iam23skidoo goes to the time bank to calculate odds. Not enough as he folds and we have a new chip leader.

9:13 Top 5

1. InstantTragedy 4050
2. Iam23skidoo 3590
3. Numbbono 3550
4. twoblackaces 3510
5. Highonpoker 3430
ILP. Lightning36 2365

9:09 Pvanharibo makes a late registration and is in to my left. Pvan has been KILLING the Turbo Fitty on Full Tilt. 16 player is how will end up tonight.

9:01 Sirfwalgman is here as well as the dashing HighOnPoker

8:51 9 min to action and 11 players. Will we have Shorthanded donkey fun tonight?

8:42 18 min to chips and still no Wawfuls, the defending Champ Pirate Lawyer is here and we will have 6 deadly questions with him later in the show.

8:30 30 Min to chips in the air and nine people are in so far

Welcome to the First Live Poker Radio Tournament

Over 38 runners so far...

Welcome to the Insanity! We're working on getting some great prizes for the future, but everyone wants to be the inaugural champion of the world.

Well, of the LivePokerRadio Tour world.

Well I've been trying to get myself knocked out of a Razz Freeroll but every time I call I catch.

My Trip 8's crush Iam23skidoo and we are off and rolling.

The Initial Gigli of the LivePokerRadio Tour is Wammie whose Qs9s were dominated by Pvanharibo's pocket nines. Wammie flopped the flush draw but no help came.

Bam Bam is gone after Numbblowme's Aces took out the last 60 chips of Bam Bam. From Way DownTOWN BAM BAM!

Top 5 so far
1. Pvanharibo
2. Irongirl
3. Scottc25
4. bdidde
5. Champsampson

and in the Dank position ... Iam23skidoo.

09:12

Recent Ejections : Cemfredmd whose A5 was no match for Bayne_s AJ. JACKACE!
OOSSUUU754 is also out!

Hoy's trip tens were enough to take a chunk of my chips, but I play better short chipped and I am in the Dank Position.

Down to 4 tables...

09:22
Pebbles Trip Kings were enough to take a ton of Numbbono's chips and he is now in the Dank position as I doubled up versus Kajagugu as A3o > 22.

1QueensUp1 aka Pokerbrian is out and we have 35 runners left.

Top 5:

1. Pebble78
2. Bdidde
3. MikeMaloney and his TCU Baloney!
4. Pvanharibo
5. OhCaptain who is looking at puppies that won't chew for OhCountess! (That's his job)

09:30

HighonPkr - Jordan and once Top 5 Irongirl have hit the rail but we would like to invite you back again. HighonPoker's Bitches (Pocket Queens) are called by Pvanharibo's 9's and the RNG is generous to the undercards as Pvanharibo's straight on turn is good enough. Going all in Preflop is not good enough to help the overcards tonight. Just see Irongirl's exit.

Miami Don's 4 flush hurt Irongirl's Cowboys and MadBrooklyn's JackAce is no good versus Fuel's Gold of Riggstad. Pocket fives hold up and we are down to 31.

If you see a nine hit the flop stay away from Pvanharibo. Champsampson's top pair is no good and he is out to her trip nines.

09:40
Set over Set.... Muhctim loses to Ddionysus 10's vs Jacks. Muchtim is in the Dank Position.
Bayne_s A10o is no good to OhCaptain's AK because sometimes Anna Kournakova looks good and wins. But not often.

Top 5
1. Pvanharibo
2. OhCaptian
3. Miami Don
4. Hoyazo
5. Lightning36 and Muhctim is in the Dank position.

Somebody's sleeping on the couch and it looks like Numbette as she takes out her own hubby Numbbono. Down to 27 players.

09:50
I've still got 5k in chips in the freeroll. Now I'm just calling blind, more entertaining for me. Runner Runner Runnered someone with KK7 showing. Got the nuts and he's cursing me out.

Scottc25 is out when his 7 4 o lost to DDionysus's QQ. Down to 26.

I'm in the Dank position when Twoblackaces pocket tens sniff out my hammer drop and Pinkystinky's boat takes me out.

The Pvanharibo express continues as she steamrolls through Zeem. Kd3d vse KQo Pvan hits the 3 on flop and turn and an unimproved Zeem hits the rail.

10:00 and we are at break. Wait a min, I didn't even make it to break, ah screw it, the host never wins his own tournament. Right Mook, Hoy, Riggs?

I can't make myself bust in Razz...
In the LPR tourney Astin and Muhctim have hit the rail also... we are down to 21

Top 5 at Break...
1. Pvanharibo 6766 in chips
2. Hoyazo 5330 in chips
3. Ddionysus 5000 in chips
4. Kajagugu 4375 in chips
5. OhCaptain 4151 in chips

Who will win, Who will be the LPRT inaugural champion. And will Tragedy ever bust out of that Razz freeroll. Stay Tuned!

Ohcountess finally fell asleep and her chips went with her. Nighty Night.

Pvanharibo is beatable as her 4's are no good against Bdidde's AK. And the pain continues the next hand for Pvanharibo as her A6 is no good against Pebble's Jacks.

Evy and her DD's are in the Dank position. Good luck hun, you'll need it.

20 players left and this is where the rubber meets the road. BTW 10:14 and I CAN'T LOSE in the Razz tourney, but I can't win either.

Top 5.
1. Ddionysus 5240
2. Hoyazo 5030
3. Pebble78 4810
4. JoshuaCarlsen 4728
5. Oh Captain 4711

And Hoy is making a run. Could he win a tournament that has never been in existence on his first try? It could happen.

But a lot of poker and suckouts to go. Columbo is in the Dank Position.

PinkyStinky's 8's are no good against the AQo of Hoy and the Instant Tragedy Curse has begun. Knock out the host, and lose a coin flip.

Pebble78's Queens are a girl's best friend, especially a turned set as Ddionysus is OUT as he Kings are no match for a set of angry women.

10:20 A side note, thanks to OhCaptain who has been helping me as my spotter tonight. Thanks again ol Mayo Brother!

Down to 17 and the funny note of the night comes from table assignments by Full Tilt. You put OhCaptain and Oh Countess, hubby and wife at the same table and Riggstad and his little buddy Alcanthang both from Philly at the same starting table. NICE JOB! I think Numbbono and Numbette were on the same table too. WOW!1

Pvanharibo has to stay away from Bdidde as he has had her number ALL night long A8 into Bdidde's AK and the board does not cooperate. She's down to 2k.

Ohcaptain's 7 high is good to tilt Hoy. Not really, but it was interesting to watch.

I miss broadcasting. We are dealing with "issues" and we will be broadcasting soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. MGT.

10:30

Still in Razz tourney, waiting for the railbirds that will come when I bubble it.

Iakaris is out in 17th and Evy is on live support. Virtually all in , in the big blind but folds. She gets two pair on the small blind and double up.

You can't beat Pvanharibo with nine's because Diamonds are Lj's best friend as she hits on the river to double through JoshuaCarlesen.

Evy's 45 chips are in the dank position while the Top 5 are :
1. Pebble 8300
2. Twoblackaces 8100
3. Hoyazo 7300
4. Numbette 5790
5. Kajagugu 5450

Royal Suckout of the night, Kajagugu's Jack versus Hoy's 10's. SHOW ME 4 card rivered straight. MOOOOOOOOOB (the unboom). Kaja gets his trips and exits in 15th place.

Chitwood is close thereafter as his AKc suited looked pretty especially after a 2 club flop but TwoBlackAces proves the Fuel's Gold (55) is good as he 4 straights him to put the death blow. GG Chitwood.

Girl on Girl action as Numbette and Evy35 go at it. Numbette hits her six of her 67 os and Evy needs a Q , a ten or a jack and the jack hits for the Gutshot and Numbette gets bitch slapped as Evy doubles up YET AGAIN. She won't go away.

Alcanthang doubles up as his two pair is good versus Numbette. Maybe she's on estrogen tilt?

10:40

Top 5
1. Hoyazo with a 13k commanding chip lead
2. Pebble maintains second place with 9800
3. Numbette continues the estrogen parade with 9000 chips
4. Twoblackaces with 8050
5. Bdidde with 5930

In the dank position... JoshuaCarlsen

As Evy and Alcanthang bust out as the suckout queen Pvanharibo calls alcanthangs all in with 9 3 os Al thinks he ahead with Queen Jack os. BUT NO. The three comes on the flop and al is gone. GG sir.

JoshuaCarlsen is out as his 9s3s is dominated by lightning36's Q2. A two hits the turn and he his gone.

Down to 10 and we are at the final table bubble. RaisingCayne is in the Dank Position and we are
holding steady on the top five.

Short stacks are wondering if the next time they see 74 off suit should they fold for the fifteenth time or shove.

Only time will tell.

RaisingCayne is out when Pvanharibo sucks out ONCE AGAIN with Raisin's Pair of aces no good to Pvan's rivered set of tens.

10:49 and we have a final table.

AND HERE WE GO... Fighting for the right to be called Numero Uno.

And the first one out is Riggstad
Now a hit seven is nice... Queen on the turn and Riggs is done to Hoy. Congrats Riggs.

Pvan takes a BUNCH of Lightning36 as OhCaptains prediction of aces comes true. Two pair for Lightning36 and he doubles up the hand later. Still going.

Bdidde hits a set, but Hoy hits a straight. Comedy ensues...
And we are at the Money Bubble!

And the bubble is POPPED!

Pebble AQ takes out Numbettes 44 with a rivered Flush and we are now CASHING!

Congrats to all the money winners:

Will it be The Dominant Chip Leader? Or Will the grizzled Veteran win?

11:13 OHCaptain is all in with J9os and doubles through Pvanharibo's A4os

11:14 Pvanharibo Donates with JQ into Twoblackaces A8o

11:15 Ohcaptain is out when his tp oesd runs into Pvan's Broadway. He takes home $37.80 and the knowledge that he cashed in the first LivePokerRadio tourney on Full Tilt.

11:15 as fast as those chips come they go as Pvan's two pair of Aces and Jacks go into the night versus Hoy's turned set. And Pvan is in the dank position with 6k!

Action is fast and furious as TBA's Set of 8's take down Hoy's Kings and Queens and we have a new chip leader TBA with 22k!

11:24 OHCaptain and I are talking "King Jack is my favorite hand," he says.
"Not tonight," I respond. WOW BOOOOOOM!

Now the blind stealing shall commence.

11:32 Ace Ten for Pebble, Ace Queen for Hoy and Pebble's Ace of diamonds ARE a girls best friend as she will double up on the 4 flush. Anyone for a chop?

11:33 Ace Ten for Pebble (Wait a min didn't I just type this,) Ace Jack for Hoy and the board blanks and Hoy gets his chips back

11:33 10's for TBA AK for Pebble, and Pebbles hits her two pair on the flop, SUCK, TBA resucks with a ten on the turn and the river flops the queen and the pot is split. If there was ever there was a WTF moment that was it.

And now this commercial message.
Next week on the LivePokerRadio Tour:
Date: Monday August 11th
Time : 10 P.M. Server Time
Buy In: $14 + $1
Format : NLHE Knockout with a $3 Bounty. DOUBLE STACK
PW: boom

11:38 Pvanharibo's A2 versus TwoblackAces AQ. Both hit the flop but Pvan gets no help and is eliminated in 4th place with a $50.40 payday.

11:39 Shennanigans as both ladies have been ejected. AQo for TBA A5o for Pebbles and the board blanks and Pebble78 takes home $67.20 in third place.

AND WE ARE HEADS UP.

Will TwoblackAces, consistent donator to the Donkament win ? Or will Hoy, win the tourney that has replaced his tourney in a karmic payback?

We have a winner...

and Irony is thick as thieves...

Hoy takes second place as the JackAce betrays yet another one.
Hoy goes home in second place with $96.60 and TwoBlackAces is your winner in the Inaugural LivePokerRadio Tour.

Level 23

Level 22 ended with some fireworks between Mike Kalfa and Mr. Bensonhurst. Kalfa had been showing down nothing but monsters and was in another pot with AKh. Mr. B (who has been big leaguing every decision, every hand) decided to put his tourney life on the line with ducks. A deuce hit the flop but Kalfa picked up a wheel draw and a flush draw on the turn. A useless King on the river and he was crippled. Mr. B also picked up his first official warning when he decided to do combo chicken dance-mosh with the player in seat 4.

We're down to 19 players. ~91k average stack and the blinds are 15k/30k/5k.

Update: That didn't take very long. Two short stacks were battling on separate tables trying to add $2k to their bankroll, the difference between 18th and 19th. Table 1 shorty found a late double up then quadruple up to squeak into the final 18.

Last 18 show up tomorrow at 11am and play down to the $500,000+ payday for first.

Now I think I saw the craps tables sitting right outside the poker room.

Level 22 update

The TD's tell me we've been sitting on 21 players for well over 90 minutes. I missed a chunk of action due to an overabundance of vanilla gelato and red bull.

This might take awhile to get down to 18. The average chip stack is around 820k and the blinds are at 12,000/24,000 4,000 ante. The TD's are keeping a close eye on Mr. Bensonhurst who is in full TV personality mode with chatter and antics. I thought he was about to go on uber-tilt but dialed it back down and still seems to be in full control of his facilities.

My main decision when we get to 18 is whether to play craps while drinking heavily or play craps heavily while drinking. My inner-degenerate is beginning to itch.

3 more players and we call it a night

At 9pm we are sitting at 21 players, only 3 til we hit the magical number of 18 when everyone leaves the table for the night. Action has slowed down a bit with the deep stacks and slow structure. We do have one live player who wished it to be known that he was on his 19 vodka for the day. Pretty impressive from my point of view. When pressed for his name all that anyone could come up with was Screwball from Bensonhurst.

The guy has been having a great time and playing some solid poker to reach the final 22.

Payouts from 19th to 27th are $10,350

DOWN the stretch they come

With 23 left and it being only 8:30 here on the right coast, it seems tonight will be an early night when they finally halt play at 18.

Alvin Delgado went out when his pair of Jacks were run down by the nutter flush.

Stacks have seem to have changed location since I came back from dinner and I will gather chip amounts for the remaining players.

The Bubble Burst

Nick Frangos was the unfortunate bubble boy missing on his nut flush draw when his opponents set of nines became a boat on the turn. Southpark Ned finished in 42nd.

28th through 36th will bank $8,625. Here come the pushing from the shorties.

Update at break 2

Following the second break we're only 9 from the money and SouthPark Ned is beginning for his table to get broke. The rest of his table completely agreed but they are stuck at table 2 which will last the night.

There were some bizarre moves over the last two levels. One player decided he wanted to go broke just short of the money with top pair only to hit his three outer on the river. Table 4 was the action table and some poor lemur had the clock called on him when he didn't even realize he had a hand. He about pissed himself when he realized the action was on him. Riggs wrote earlier about the guy who blew his shot at the big payday and staked his tourney life on the all powerful 95o.

Riggs is no longer worrying about his man-crush. Lacey Jones (seen here with Dr. Pauly) is sitting at the media table so we're back to good ole' fashioned hetero fun. Perticelli just spent 30 minutes getting her interview and it should be good to go as soon as he edits out all his stuttering.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

Brian Gillman sitting on just under 500k in chips makes a middle position raise with 9 4 of spades. Joseph "betco" Hammerman reraise to 90k with QQ. Gillman repops to $190k and Hammerman calls.

The flop comes 9 high with two spades. Gillman shoves and Hammerman calls. Gillman doesn't improve and Hammerman scoops a pot worth over $1,ooo,ooo and takes the chip lead for the tournament.

Mouths are open as some agree and others disagree with the move by both players.

Wither way Hammerman takes a huge lead and players at that table will certainly be letting him walk in the blinds for some time.

Matt Stout is out

Just after the break Matt "allinat420" Stout is out when his KK ran into chipleader Karim Bevans and his A7d.

Down to 54 players already and the shortstacks are looking at the payout board between every hand like it might change. Southpark Ned is the closest but the entire room just had a reprieve from him when they decided it was time to test the fire alarm system. I've never been so glad for flashing strobe lights and blaring sirens.
